Safe Haven Classes For All Coaches, Assistant Coaches & Team Parents

Three Safe Haven Classes have been added to the 2008 schedule on Wednesdays, 8/20, 8/27, and 9/3.

Safe Haven is mandatory certification for all coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents.
The class deals with all AYSO policies and responsibilities concerning your dealing with children and parents.

Safe Haven is a child and volunteer protection program focusing on the Volunteer Protection Act and the Child Protection Act. The course aims at providing you full protection under the law.

Classes begin at 6:00 p.m. and will end approximately 8:30 p.m.  Returning volunteers need only attend the refresher portion which occurs in the first 45 minutes of each class.
You will also have an opportunity to submit your volunteer form at each class. All volunteers must submit a new volunteer form each season.

Volunteers make take Safe Haven online at: eAYSO.

Continous Education:

In Region 73 we try to keep a good standard for our referees. We ask our volunteer referees to keep themselves up to date on the Laws of the Game and the AYSO National Rules and Regulations by attending a (recertification) referee clinic every year.  Most experienced referees know this.  Click here to go to the Referee page.
