Celebrate the 4th of July with Region 73
Region 73 will be hosting the Phantom Fireworks stand located in the Sports Authority parking lot, 4821 Ming Ave. Celebrate the 4th and help support Region 73. Part of you purchase will go directly towards supporting the upcoming 2009 season at CSUB. Hours are: July 1st: 12:00 Noon - 12:00 Midnight July 2nd & 3rd: 9:00 am - 12:00 Midnight July 4th: 9:00 am. - 9:00 pm.
Fall 2009 Waiting List Being Formed
Registration has now closed for the 2009 Fall Season. Teams are being formed for the upcoming season. To complete teams as they are created, we may have openings for players in the different divisions. These openings will be filled from the Waiting List. To place a child on the Waiting List please click here and complete the form. The registrar will contact parents as openings are available. Player Registration: $100.00 per child payable in cash or check Includes: Uniform, Individual & Team Picture, parking pass, Soccer Accidental Insurance and LOADS OF FUN!!! First year players need to bring proof of age (Birth Certificate, Immunization Record, or Health Card). Boys and Girls ages 4 to 19 are eligible to play in Region 73. Mark Wade Reelected as AYSO National President

National Annual General Meeting (NAGM) General Business Session
Today was a day for business and voting on the important issues and decisions that will affect AYSO in the coming year. At this morning's General Business Session the voting delegates of AYSO elected three members for the National Board of Directors. They are: incumbents Adrienne Coffin and Bill Hummell and first-time board member, Tony Veronico. The delegates of AYSO passed the proposed budget for fiscal year 2009 and also voted on the proposed Bylaw and Rules and Regulations changes. Soccer Accident Insurance (SAI) - July 1, 2009 Carrier Change
Every year we place our SAI insurance program out to bid to find the best combination of price and service for our members. On July 1, 2009 Starr Indemnity and Liability Company will become AYSO’s new SAI insurance carrier. The new claim form, instructions and brochure will be available on www.soccer.org by June 5 for download. All claims are subject to a $200 deductible, must be filed within 90 days from date of injury and contain a Social Security Number for the claimant.
